Those who know me know my concern for my dad. He's unsaved, but thinks he's saved, which are usually the most difficult people to witness to. However, whenever I can, I do. Please pray for my dad in that regard.
But, today my prayer includes his health. Ever since I was a little kid, my dad has suffered from many ailments. He went out on disability when I was about 5 years old and hasn't worked in about 25 years or so.
He went to the doctor for some tests the other week to see if some nodules on his thyroid were cancerous. There were two of them. The one is not cancerous, but the other one has to be tested again because it was inconclusive. The doctor doesn't feel that it's cancerous, but he's not sure. So, if you can remember, please keep my dad in your prayers. His name is Adolphus Armstrong.
Thanks, fam.

It's true that doctrine divides. It's also true that love unifies. The unity we have in the faith is rooted and grounded in truth and love. Remove truth (right theology and doctrine) from the mix and you have less than Biblical unity. Remove love and you have no unity. Love causes us to seek truth and share that truth with others so that we become more unified. God is truth, and as we are more acquainted with His truth, the closer we are to Him, and the closer we become to each other
