PostSubject: Job situation   Tue Jan 29, 2008 5:09 pm

I need prayer to find a good job. I am currently working at a small Marketing Firm and money situations are bad. My boss gambles and has made many bad decisions with money. I have been applying to many different jobs in the area and have heard nothing back from any of them. I really just want to know what God wants me to do. I will continue to put out my resume and pray. I hate to put a time clock on the new job but I really need to find one soon. So I guess, pray for wisdom for me, to know what to do. Pray that a good job will open up, a job that I can work myself up in the company. And pray that my faith will increase during this time.

Thanks guys!

You mentioned this to me in our phone conversation like 8 years ago...lol. Kidding about the amount of time, but we do need to link up soon.

I'll be keeping you in prayer about this situation, bro.

Let me give you a little back ground. My boss has spent all of the money we have coming in till July. She gambles and owes alot of people money. I had a paycheck bounce in December and she told me yesterday that she didn't have enough money to cover this check that she gave me and told me to hold it for a little while (which is hard because my bills don't wait for her to pay me). There is no more money there. So in December I stepped my game up and really started looking hard for another job. Here we are two months later and I haven't heard back from one. I know the Lord will supply my needs. I just need wisdom, to know what to do and favor, to find a new job.
As I talked with my boss yesterday she told me that I should be looking for a new job because she don't know if she will be able to pay me. So I need something to open up quick. Well, that is the story and I will keep you updated.

Thank you to all that are praying for me. I really need it.

It has been awhile and I wanted to give an update. On Wednesday I started a job with Boeing in the IT Department. This is a true blessing from God. For those that don't know, I have been working at a rebar fabrication shop for the past 3 months while I was looking for another job. It wasn't a great job but it gave me the opportunity to share with those working there about Jesus. God is really good and has placed me at Boeing now for a reason. IT is not what I went to school for but God is in control and I am thankful for a good job with alot of opportunity. Again thanks to all of you that have been praying for me. It means alot!

I hope to be posting more, now that I have a regular job.

Grace and Peace
